Step 1. Getting Started in WowCity.com

  • Business Account Registration (Watch Video Tutorial)

    1. Click on the Wow Business registration icon in top right section
    2. Fill out the Account Registration Form. Valid E-mail is required.
    3. Upon submit, an activation e-mail will be sent to you.
      • Contains a link to activate your account
      • If not in your inbox, check your SPAM folder
    4. Click on the activation link.
    5. You will be automatically logged in to your account.
    6. Click on "My Business" then click on "Add Business"
    7. Type to enter the following:
      • Name of your business
      • Business Telephone
        • If Business Already Exists - Go to "Owning a Business Listing Process"
        • If Business Available For Listing, click next - Proceed to #8 up to #14.
    8. Fill out the Contact Information Form
        • Business Name - Make sure it is correct, if not you need to go back to re-enter
        • Homebased - Check Yes if you are a home based operation.
        • Business Address - Type the street address only, ex. 123 Wow Street
        • Country - Select your country
        • Region - Select your state or region
        • City - Select your city
        • Zip - Type your zip or postal code
        • Phone Number - Contains the business phone number
        • Cellular Number - Enter your mobile business phone, if any
        • Fax Number - Enter your business fax, if any
        • Website - Enter your business website, if any
        • Email - Enter your business email
        • Click Next
    9. Business Category Selection
      • Category - Choose one best category that applies to your business, ex. Business Services
      • Subcategories - Once you have selected a Category, subcategories will be displayed
      • Select Subcategories - Click on a subcategory, then click on ">>". Hold CTRL to select multiple.
      • Click Next
    10. Hours of Operation - Type your business hours of operation, ex. Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM. Click Next
    11. Website Set-up Information
      • Site Title - Type your website title
      • Slogan - Type your slogan or tag line
      • Description - Type your business description and highlights
      • Click Next
    12. Uploading Photo or Logo
      • Click on "Change"
      • Then, "Browse" for the image to upload
      • Upload, then click Next
    13. Custom Web Address - Type the name for your web address. Here are some suggestions:
      • Use your business name - Ex. myflowershop - myflowershop.wowcity.com
      • Use your name and keywords - Ex. myflowershopgifts.wowcity.com
      • Include the name of your city - Ex. myflowershop-fontana.wowcity.com
      • Click "Confirm" once you are satisfied
    14. Final Step - Click on "Pay Now" link button to pay $1 one dollar. We accept major credit or debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express via Paypal.com secure payment processing.

  • Owning the Business Listing with Registration (Watch Video Tutorial)
    1. Locate your business by using the search fields "What" - Name of your Business and "Where" - City
    2. Browse through the results to find your business listing. If the results shown include other cities, press "F5" or reload to show better results. In case your business is not to be found in the listing results, please use the "Adding a New Business" steps.
    3. Click on your business name in the listing results and you'll be taken to the listing details page.
    4. Click on the red bar icon - "Are you the owner of this business? Click here!"
    5. If you have an account, log in to proceed.
    6. If you have no account yet, click on the registration link.
    7. Fill out the registration form. Valid e-mail address is required.
    8. Upon submit, an activation e-mail will be sent to you.
      • Contains a link to activate your account
      • If not in your inbox, check your SPAM folder
    9. Click on the Activation Link.
    10. You will be automatically logged in to proceed.
    11. Go to "Owning a Business Listing Process"

  • Upgrading Your Existing Account to Business Type

    • Upgrading from Buddy
      1. Log in to your account.
      2. In the Account Overview section of the Dashboard find Account Type.
      3. Click on the link "Upgrade" - Account Type Buddy (Upgrade)
      4. Click on "Upgrade my Account to Business"
      5. Click Next
      6. Done. Go to Business Account Registration #6 to Add Your Business.

    • Upgrading from Seller
      1. Log in to your account.
      2. In the Account Overview section of the Dashboard find Account Type.
      3. Click on the link "Upgrade" - Account Type Seller (Upgrade)
      4. Click on "Upgrade my Account to Business"
      5. Answer Yes or No to "Do you want to make your store as your business?"
        • Yes - means your current store will be converted as a business with your products
        • No - means your store will be deleted and you will have to add your business
      6. Click Next
      7. Done. Go to Business Account Registration #6 to Add Your Business.

  • Owning a Business Listing Process (Watch Video Tutorial)
    1. Log in to your account, then click on "My Business" icon in the menu
    2. Click on "Add Business"
    3. Type to enter the following:
      • Name of your business
      • Business Telephone
      • Click "Check Now"
      • If message says...
        • "Business Available For Listing", go to Business Account Registration #8
        • "Business Already Exist", proceed to #4 below...
    4. Click on button or link - "Are you the owner of this business? Click Here"
    5. Fill out the Business Owning Form fields:

      • Site Slogan - Type your business slogan or tag line
      • Business Name - Verify and make necessary corrections
      • Business Address - Verify and make necessary corrections
      • Country - Select your country
      • Region - Select your state or region
      • City - Select your city
      • Zip Code - Type your zip or postal code
      • Longitude - Used for mapping purposes
      • Latitude - Used for mapping purposes
      • Email - Enter your business email
      • Phone Number - Contains the business phone number
      • Cell - Enter your mobile business phone, if any
      • Fax - Enter your business fax, if any
      • Business Hours - Type your business hours. You can edit this later.
      • Keywords - Enter business keywords for search. You can edit this later.
      • About - Write about your business/highlights. You can edit this later.
      • Website Link - Enter your business website, if any.
        • Example: http://www.wowcity.com
      • Click Preview. Make sure it is correct.
      • Once ready, click on Buy Now button to pay $1 one dollar.

      • EXPIRY DATE - Pick date when promotion expires, ex. December 3rd
      • PHOTO - Upload a photo for your promotion, if any

    1. Log in to your account.
    2. Click on "My Business"

    5. Edit the field "Keywords"
      • Enter keywords separated by commas
      • Use descriptive and product keywords
      • Keywords can be general or specific
      • Example: restaurant, american, steak house, prime rib

      • To have posted products for sale with quantity of one or more
      • Have a Paypal.com account for accepting payments
